We are thrilled to extend an invitation to audition for the upcoming MainStage productions at the Redding Performing Arts Center. As we gear up for our exciting 2025 Season, we are seeking talented individuals who can bring life and depth to our upcoming productions. We are currently seeking individuals for the following shows:

A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER – Musical – Directed by Caz Crozier

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
Headshot
Actor’s Resume
Bluetooth Device (Phone/ipad) with accompaniment ready/Or Sheet Music for the piano accompanist
Water bottle


WHAT TO EXPECT
Please arrive 10 mins before your audition slot to get settled in and prepared for your audition. When you arrive you can wait patiently in the Lobby or use one of the studios in our education wing to warm up. Please have sheet music or your track on a bluetooth enabled device ready to go. We will have a bluetooth speaker for you to connect to.


HOW TO SIGN UP
Use the link above to select an audition time slot. Each 5 minute time bracket is only one audition slot. Please choose an available slot that doesn’t have another individual already listed in the same time bracket. Please select whether you will be using bluetooth connection or using the pianist provided by RPAC. If you are using our accompanist, please provide clearly marked and easy to read sheet music with you. If you would like the accompanist to have the music in advance please email a PDF copy to: brandon@reddingpac.com


HOW TO PREPARE

32-Bar Song Selection: Musicals
Select a 32-bar excerpt from a musical piece that best showcases your vocal range and acting ability. Accompaniment will be provided if needed, so please bring sheet music in the appropriate key or an accompaniment track to connect to a bluetooth device. A pianist will be available. (you will connect to our speaker)

Monologue: Plays & Musicals
Prepare a one minute monologue that highlights your versatility and range as an actor. This is an opportunity to exhibit your storytelling capabilities and emotional depth.

Don’t Have a Monologue or 32-Bar Song Selection?
If you don’t have a monologue of a 32-Bar song selection we would still like to hear and see you! We will have audition sides from the shows available to cold read and will do a little voice check with you during your 5 minute slot.
