STRINGS I
(Beginner)
Violin/Viola/Cello/Double Bass
An introduction to Ensemble Playing
This course introduces string players to the essentials of ensemble performance, focusing on basic techniques, rhythm coordination, and group dynamics. Students will develop foundational skills in timing, intonation, and teamwork through engaging, beginner-level repertoire.
STRINGS II
(Early Intermediate)
Violin/Viola/Cello/Double Bass
PREREQ: Completion of STRINGS I
Building on the basics from STRINGS I, this course challenges students with more complex repertoire and early intermediate ensemble techniques. Emphasis is placed on refining precision, musical expression, and communication within the group.
CHAMBER ENSEMBLE
(Intermediate/Advanced)
Strings & Orchestral Horns
PREREQ: Audition or Instructor Approval
This course is for intermediate string and orchestral horn players who are ready to explore chamber music repertoire. Students will focus on musicality and collaboration, with each musician taking on a vital role in the ensemble.
RPAC KIDS CHOIR
Grades 3rd – 7th
Introduction to Choral Singing
This choir is designed for young artists to explore the basics of choral singing in a fun and supportive environment. Through simple songs and playful exercises, students will learn fundamental vocal techniques, rhythm, and pitch while developing a love for music.
RPAC YOUTH CHOIR
Grades 8th – 12th
Developing Choral Musicianship
For highschool age singers, this choir builds on the basics by introducing more challenging repertoire and refining vocal skills. Students will focus on harmony, vocal technique, and ensemble singing, with an emphasis on teamwork and expressive performance.
