Audition Prep, Sign-Ups & Materials
For The Prince of Egypt dancer auditions:
This is for trained dancers interested in joing The PoE dance ensemble. Auditions will focus entirely on movement and choreography – no vocal or monologue work required – and entail 1 hour group slots.
For The Prince of Egypt and Sweeney Todd actor auditions:
We have curated an Audition Packet for all actors wishing to audtion for The Prince of Egypt and Sweeney Todd.*
– Please prepare one of the pre-selected song excerpts from the Audition Packet that best matches your desired role or vocal range. If your preferred role is not listed, choose a song that aligns with your voice.
– Prepare a one-minute monologue that highlights your versatility and range as an actor.
*If you are auditioning for both musicals, you only need to prepare one song from either show – not a song from both.
For Amahl and the Night Visitors actor auditions:
– Prepare an art song or aria in Menotti’s style

What to Expect
Actors: Please arrive 10 mins before your audition slot to get settled in and prepared for your audition. When you arrive you can wait patiently in the lobby or use one of the studios in our STUDIOS wing to warm up. RPAC will provide backing tracks to audition with. Simply have your song selected and rehearsed from the Audition Packet options. Actors are also asked to participate in a dance evaluation from either 3-4PM or 4-5PM.
Dancers: Please arrive 10 mins before your audition time to settle in and warm up. The audition will focus entirely on movement and choreography – no vocal or monologue work required – and last one hour.

Actors: Use the link above to fill out a form and sign up for a 5 minute audition slot. Please choose an available slot that doesn’t have another individual already listed in the same time bracket.
Dancers: Use the link above to fill out a form, on which you’ll indicate which hour-long time slot you’ll audition in.
