About RPAC

RPAC started in 2019 as a private music lessons studio with a clear goal: make the performing arts accessible to Redding. Seven years later, that goal has grown into something the North State hadn’t seen before. With 77 productions to date, a Theatre Academy serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, a Mainstage adult theatre program running nine productions a year across two venues, private lessons in music and voice, and group classes in music and dance, RPAC has become the region’s most comprehensive performing arts center. In 2025, Redding named us Best Live Theatre in the North State. We’re not done yet.

Our Mission

RPAC exists to put the arts within reach of every person in the North State, from a kindergartner’s first time on stage to a lifelong Redding resident settling into a Mainstage seat. We train, we produce, and we grow, not because Redding lacks culture, but because it deserves a place built to develop it. Every season, every class, and every production moves us closer to a North State where the arts are not a rare event but a regular part of life. We’re just getting started.
